Birds Can Fly Family-Friendly Craft Workshop

‘Accidental activist’ and award-winning interdisciplinary artist Paul Harfleet, uses art, illustration and design to educate and inspire bird lovers and promote creativity, kindness and acceptance.

Join Paul as he shares his artistic practice, including the story behind his gentle references. You'll hear him read his debut book Pansy Boy, and take part in some drawing workshops, where - whatever your skill level - you'll create perfectly beautiful drawings inspired by nature. Paul will be on hand to offer guidance, so get your questions ready!

Anyone who takes part is invited to join us on Saturday 16th September for an Avian Amble through Court Hey Park, to share your bird-inspired creations, and have their portraits taken to add to an exhibition of ‘gently referenced’ ornithological looks.

Families welcome, suitable for ages 6+. Part of A Sense of Green.
