Dame Emma Kirkby in concert at St. Dunstan's
The world-renowned soprano, Dame Emma Kirkby, will be performing in concert at St. Dunstan's Church, Mayfield on Saturday 30th September 2023 at 7.30pm. During her 40-year career she has been internationally acclaimed as one of the foremost sopranos of the modern era and in 2011 she was awarded the Queen's Medal for Music.
For her concert at St. Dunstan's Dame Emma will be performing Handel's Nine German Arias alongside works by Dowland and Bach and she will be joined by four exciting musicians of international standard: Julia Bishop (violin), Jack Gonzalez-Harding (harpsichord), Catherine Rimer (cello) and Daniel Swani (flute).
Opportunities to attend events of this calibre outside of the major music venues do not come along that often so this is a concert that is not to be missed.
