Heritage Open Day: Meet Roger Bigod and listen to his role in the signing of the Magna Carta and building Bungay castle. There will be a display of the weapons Roger used to defeat his enemies and a cooking pot to sample the food the army marched on. Come and meet Roger Bigod in this interactive live display of the clothes, weapons and freshly prepared food which were available at the time Roger built Bungay Castle. Make your own tabard and dress of the period.
