Riding For The Disabled Riverside Walkway Cafe

Heritage Open Day: The North Ferriby Riding for the Disabled Riverside Walkway Cafe is open for refreshments and home to friendly ponies, donkeys, alpacas, sheep, chickens and cats, dog friendly, with indoor and outdoor seating areas, grooming activities, local artwork North Ferriby Riding for the Disabled was set up in the 1980s by Dr June Alexander with Leo and Joy Neil. When Leo and Joy retired in 1999 a new committee was formed and the journey to find more horses and update the facilities began, with a focus on helping people with both physical and mental health wellbeing, long term health conditions and disabilities through Equine care, stable management, facilitated learning and special bespoke programs.
