Thirty-something and things not going so well Wouldn’t it be great if dad came to stay
The Theatre at the Tabard presents the world premiere of Delinquent Dad, a fast-paced knockabout comedy about feeling older in a rapidly changing world, getting caught out and finding redemption.
As the world outside slowly goes to pieces, thirty-something couple Matt and Cara are holding out against their ruthless landlord who is using ever more persuasive methods to remove them from their flat. When Matt’s Dad is left on their doorstep, their domestic arrangements become ever more out of control. As Dad’s misdemeanours are revealed, hilarious mishaps ensue as the three of them dig in against the landlord and find common cause against the world.
Directed by Nick Bromley (who directed the Tabard’s production of The Last Laugh in November 2022), this feel-good comedy will have you grinning from ear to ear while tugging at your heartstrings.
