Folk horror is undergoing a revival right now, with authors such as Andrew Michael Hurley, Adam Nevill, AM Shine and more leading the way for the field. In this workshop, we’ll explore the roots and history of folk horror, examine what makes a story ‘folk horror’, look at some practical tips and techniques for your own stories in the subgenre and provide some writing exercises to get inspiration for fresh creative projects!
