Roman Family Fun Day
Drop-in and meet the historical re-enactors from Butser IX Legion in period costume who will tell you about life in Roman Britain, as well as demonstrate skills that you can have a go at. There will be an opportunity to take part in Roman-inspired crafts and activities as well as to complete a themed trail.
Attention all West Berkshire schools! There is a FREE Roman School Day planned for Monday 16 October so if you are interested in a morning (9.30am-11.30am) or afternoon (1pm-3pm) session at West Berkshire Museum, which would include re-enactors and Roman-themed activities, please email the Learning and Participation Officer, Clare Bromley: clare.bromley@westberks.gov.uk
