Piano Recital by Ivan Yanakov

International pianist Ivan Yanakov presents a solo recital with works by Haydn, César Franck, Rachmaninoff, and contemporary composers.

Pianist and conductor, Ivan Yanakov has been heard to critical acclaim in over 30 countries in Europe, Australia, North America and Asia, in halls that include the Carnegie Hall Recital Hall in New York, Cadogan Hall in London, Tokyo Metropolitan Arts Center, Sydney Town Hall, Kitara Hall in Sapporo, Okinawa Convention Centre, Taipei National Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall, Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre… He was the recipient of Artists International Debut Series’ Prize at Carnegie Hall.

His albums are available as CDs, and 150 other digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer..

Born in Sofia, Ivan graduated from the Mannes College of Music in New York. He was also a full-scholarship fellow at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. Today, he is often invited to give master classes at major universities in Europe and Asia, most recently at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Hong Kong Baptist University.

This season is taking Ivan Yanakov once more to the Far East, and to over 10 countries in Europe. In spring of 2024, he will make his first South American tour.
