Join us for an evening to switch off from the ordinary and immerse your imagination in stories performed in the ancient oral storytelling tradition.
Forging Fantastical presents Anthony Nanson for Fantastical Tales on an Autumn's Eve:
'The Cobra, the Flood, and the Pathway of Love'
Anthony will share a medley of tales - traditional, true, and tall - that in one way or another have to do with animals and ecology. Anthony founded the long-running Bath Storytelling Circle in 1999 and also co-founded the storytelling company Fire Springs. His books include, among others, Gloucestershire Folk Tales and Words of Re-enchantment. His most recent book, Storytelling and Ecology, was a Finalist in the Association of American Publishers Prose Awards 2022 and awarded Honors in the Storytelling World Awards 2022.
We will also enjoy stories from Helen Wright and Jessica Perkins.
