Join Wild Things for a day in the woods, exploring the traditional living skills of our ancestors that allowed them to survive and thrive when the forest was a much wilder place.
We will look at building shelters to keep us out the elements using natural materials; forage food and medicines from the forest; purify water; make cordage from natural materials; and hone our senses, learning about tracking and the animals we might find hiding around us. Activities are suitable for primary school ages children.
Bring some lunch and water, sturdy footwear, and clothing suitable for the weather on the day.
This day has been kindly subsidised by our funders, all you need to pay is a £10 booking fee for your family.
