The sacred meets the operatic in this Waverley Singers concert of choral music from Italy. Verdi's simple and poignant Pater Noster is paired with Puccini's defiantly operatic Messa di Gloria. The concert also features two fine soloists, both members of the BBC Singers, Peter Davoren and Jimmy Holliday. Philip Scriven will accompany on the organ and the concert will be conducted by Richard Pearce.
