Tackling TB: Opening Night Celebration!
Join us for an exciting museum late at Verdant Works as we launch our new exhibition, Tackling TB: The Dundee Scientists Fighting the Killer Cough!
Produced in collaboration with the Wellcome Centre for Anti-Infectives research at the University of Dundee. This family-friendly exhibition explores the past, present and future of tuberculosis. Learn about one of the deadliest infections the world has ever known; explore how it affected the mill workers of 19th century Dundee, how it still affects over ten million people worldwide today and virtually meet the Dundee scientists researching a better treatment.
This event is an opportunity to be among the first to view the interactive exhibition, as well as be entertained by local live music, take part in an array of hands-on activities and enjoy refreshments supported by Royal Mile Whiskies.
Each donation = 1 attendee slot. If you wish to bring multiple attendees, please make a donation per person.
