The Cheltenham Ice Rink
The spectacular Cheltenham Ice Rink will return from Friday 17 November 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024. Located in Imperial Gardens in the heart of Regency Cheltenham – reflecting the town’s historic Winter Gardens and indoor roller skating rink that once occupied a site here.
The modern-day version will be undercover, offering a memorable festive experience in all weathers, for skaters of all ages and abilities. With capacity for over 100 skaters at a time, relaxed skating sessions for SEND visitors, and discounts for schools and group bookings, the fully wheelchair-accessible ice rink offers a fun activity for everyone.
For all sessions the minimum age for children to skate is 3 years old. All children aged 3 to 7 years old must be accompanied onto the ice by an adult (someone 18 years old and above) in skates, with a maximum of five children per adult. Children aged 7 to 11 must be accompanied by an adult, although the adult need not be skating.
A limited supply of fun skate penguins are available for hire on a first come first served basis.

Prices start from £11.50 for an adult (from 16 years), £9.50 for a child (3 - 15 years of age), £35 for a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children) and a special discounted rate of £13 for pre-schoolers (1 adult and one under 5) on the following dates - Wednesdays 22 and 29 November and Wednesdays 6, 13 and 20 December, 10am - 11am.
