Grayshott FolkClub presents: JAMES YORKSTON with NINA PERSSON
James Yorkston is a long-established and highly-regarded Indie Folk Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist/Pianist/Author with a performing pedigree dating back to 2001.
He has always been prepared to push the boundaries of Music and explore new territories.
For more than 30 years, Nina Persson has been the Lead Singer and co-writer for The Cardigans and still fronts one of Sweden’s most influential, successful and creative Pop/Rock bands, on their occasional live appearances.
Although not currently recording new material, they have already produced some incredibly popular songs and built an enviable catalogue of music.

We are also delighted to welcome back local musician Hannah Scott, who has had a very successful year to date and has appeared at many Festivals this Summer. She first visited Grayshott Folk Club as recently as April 2023.
Here is Hannah singing her song “Skimming Stones”, which she has dusted off and recently revived to include on her newest album “Ancient Lights”. It was played on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show recently:
