Santa’s Grotto and The Wishmas Owl bring joy and happiness to Lakeside
This Christmas, Lakeside Shopping Centre tells a magical tale of Wishmas; a story of kindness and joy where wishes come true, set to be one of the centre’s most wonderful experiences ever.
Set within an enchanted Winter Woodland of snow-capped pine trees, the Wishmas Owl Garden transports visitors to Santa’s secret place where his playful elves and sprites get up to mischief while the grand old owl looks over and listens to all the Christmas wishes.
From Friday 24th November, the Wishmas Woodland Elves are inviting families and visitors to be a part of this year’s magical story of the Wishmas Owl that will take them on a journey of wonder and excitement, before sending their Christmas wishes to the North Pole.
After story time, guests will be guided through the snow-covered forest floor and into Santa’s workshop where the Woodland Elves help children and adults work together to create sustainable Christmas decorations to take home and keep.
The journey continues with the most magical moment of them all, a visit to Santa. Step inside the cosy grotto where Father Christmas is waiting to talk to the children, find out who has been good and listen to their wish lists.
After a family photo, each child will go home with an early reindeer Christmas present and a lifetime of happy memories, ready for the big day to come.
Tickets to the grotto cost £8* per child and can be booked at lakeside.digitickets.co.uk/tickets
The Wishmas Owl Garden is open:
Monday to Saturday 10am – 7pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm *The first half hour session is allocated for SEND sessions
*with 2 complementary adults, other adults accompanying will cost £2 and this allows 2 additional adults.
