For renowned skipper and lifelong thrill-seeker Matt Knight and world-class big wave surfer Andrew Cotton, sailing to unpredictable and uncharted regions is impossible to resist.
Inspired by a 19th century treasure hunter’s journal, with family and friends, they board the beautiful catamaran Hecate and follow clues to the ‘perfect wave’ in the most remote and dangerous waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Not everything goes to plan, and serious injury and life-threatening challenges test the crew’s resilience and attitudes towards risk.
