Horticultural Talk and Social Evening
Our next meeting is on Friday 1st December at 7.45 when we welcome a special speaker, Timothy Walker, recently retired Curator of the Oxford Botanic Gardens, still a part time professor at Somerville College, Oxford and a presenter on a series of horticultural talks on BBC4. His talk is a very topical one, ‘The twelve Plants of Christmas’.
In addition, refreshments are included which, being the Christmas season, include minced pies and mulled wine.
