On 6 December from 12:30pm, head down to Cowcross Yards for a workshop in making sustainable Christmas crackers, that are sure to delight everyone at the holiday table. Our Christmas cracker workshop is a great way to learn how to make your own crackers and upcycle old paper, such as magazines, old drawings and wrapping paper. You can also add your favourite jokes and make a paper crown. This promises to be an inspiring session to learn more about low waste living, exchange sustainable Christmas tips and ideas and get into the festive mood and a great way of getting into the holiday spirit whilst being kinder to our planet.
Visitors are also invited to see London’s first ever graffiti Christmas tree that was unveiled at Cowcross Yards last week, made entirely of recycled crates and given a festive spray paint makeover by the public. Throughout the Christmas season, the KERB at Cowcross Yards market will be onsite every Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am-2:30 pm, serving up the best in London street food.
