Parracombe Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Set in the historic Exmoor village of Parracombe, with its Norman motte and bailey castle and an ancient C12 church. St Petrocks Church is Grade I listed, and the churchyard, managed by volunteers, is set to become a County Wildlife Site. Church Cottage is a garden in progress, with informal cottage style beds, a large vegetable and cut-flower area and a young orchard. Laurel Cottage is a small gem of a garden, packed with successional planting and landscape features. Littleclose has a terraced garden, roses, a developing orchard and a lovely view of the motte and bailey castle. Paradise Villa is a charming garden with a productive vegetable area.
