Forest Hill Garden Group - Open Garden for NGS

The leafy suburb of Forest Hill is one of London's best kept secrets. Described by architect Norman Foster as 'a delightful pocket of South London', it is home to the award-winning Horniman Museum and Gardens, with its wholefood cafe, butterfly house and magnificent conservatory an added bonus for visitors. The gardens themselves are all located within easy walking distance of the museum, on what is reputed to be the highest hill in South London. Many boast spectacular views over the city, so you can enjoy your tea and cake while surveying the ever-changing London skyline. The gardens too are ever-changing, particularly as we try to adapt to climate change and the ecological emergency.
