Owl Walk at Bore Place

Are owls as wise as their reputation suggests and why is it that they hoot and screech as much as they do at this time of year?

Take a stroll after dark around Bore Place with bird expert Tom Forward, following our ears in search of the resident owls. Making use of thermal imaging equipment we'll be seeing if we can spot them, as well as other wildlife such as hares and deer that become more active by night.

Walking may include uneven ground and long grass, covering a distance of 2.5km, so sturdy footwear, walking boots or wellies recommended and warm clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Suitable for age 8+ (however younger, interested children able to cover the walking distance are welcome).
