From Tudors To Chandler

The Pastores Ensemble will be repeating this event after it's successful performance in Southwick in West Sussex yet again to be joined by Connie Starns soprano and Ethan Taylor narrator to present an interesting programme of music with songs ,narration and texts by poet John Donne ,20th century crime fiction writer Raymond Chandler with a Statement of innocence from Margaret Pole the Countess of Salisbury (Executed by Henry VIII).
New music by Robert Carrington (Incidental music and Consort songs) and new pieces for consort by Paul Neville.
Plus works by Renaissance Composers such as Christopher Tye, Thomas Tomkins, William Brade, John Farmer and Thomas Simpson all played on viols, recorders, guitar and mandolins.
Event starts at 7.30pm with Refreshments and Tickets Cost £10.00 payable by Cash only.
Refreshments will also be available.
