Tree Planting with Wild about Westhope
Wild about Westhope are preparing for their next main tree planting event scheduled for Sunday 18th February 10am – 1pm.
The group will be planting a range of British Native trees and shrubs to create a new woodland corridor to link existing woodland habitats.
The group would like to invite all who enjoy the Countryside and care for the environment to come and join the fun. All ages and abilities are welcome and participants can drop in at any time and stay and plant as many trees as they like.
The event is taking place near to Westhope Green Burial Ground SY7 9J and the Chapel carpark will be open for parking. The site is easy to get to and has good access for all.
Spades will be available but if you are able to bring one that would be useful along with a mug so you can be topped up with refreshments.

The event is free and open to all with good and easy access suitable for all age. Tree planting starts at 10am and finishes at 13.00pm Drop in at any time and stay and plant as many trees as you like.
