The Edinburgh Highland Reel & Strathspey Society (EHRSS) is delighted to be returning to The Queen's Hall again to present another varied programme of traditional Scottish fiddle music.
The concert will feature the orchestra under the baton of well known Scottish fiddle player Yla Steven BEM, who last year was entered into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame. They will be playing a selection of marches, strathspeys, reels, lively jigs and hauntingly beautiful slow airs.
EHRSS welcomes back piper Alexander Sime-Scott and the tenor Christopher Haggerty, who recently won the inaugural Scottish Singing Competition at the Burns Club of London. This year EHRSS will also be joined by junior choir Blackhall St. Columba's Singers.
