Guest Speaker:

Over three decades, climbing legend Leo Houlding has led landmark expeditions around the globe. From rocky outcrops in England to the ends of the Earth; if it’s steep, adventurous and extreme, that’s where you’ll find Leo Houlding.

Join Leo on stage where he will share his epic life stories including first ascents in all seven continents, leading teams to climb giant walls deep in the Amazon, taking his kids of epic climbing adventures, as well delving into the untold tales behind The Asgard Project, Leo’s expedition to make the first free ascent of the North Face of the incredible Mt Asgard on Baffin Island deep in the Arctic.

As an exclusive addition to the Kendal Mountain Tour programme in Chester this year, Leo’s film Two Point Four will be featured during the event, offering a unique glimpse into his extraordinary family adventures.

Also, hear from Chester Frosties, an informal, free to join, group of people who aim to swim in open water at least once a week, 52 weeks a year, regardless of the weather.
