The Royal Free Singers, with The Orchestra of London, are delighted to be performing one of the Mozart's greatest works.
Scored for two soprano soloists, a tenor, bass, double chorus and large orchestra, this work was composed during 1782-3. The first performance took place in Salzburg in October 1783. The work was left incomplete, but editorial reconstruction ensures that we can enjoy its full magnificence today.
