About this Event
Spring Festival at Petworth House and Park
Celebrate the arrival of spring with the first ever Spring Festival at Petworth House and Park, featuring craft workshops, talks, family activities, a spectacular display of daffodils and more.
A two-day Makers Market will kick things off, held in partnership with Petworth Pop-Up, where visitors can find high quality artisan gifts and a range of beautiful handmade products.
Gardening enthusiasts will be treated to a series of talks and demonstrations from specialist speakers including BBC Gardeners' World presenters Frances Tophill and Arit Anderson, author Robyn Booth and curator of Munstead Wood Caroline Ikin.
Guided foraging walks will offer a unique chance to connect with nature, and if you’re feeling creative there will be fun and informative workshops including botanical drawing, wreath making and willow weaving.
Drop-in crafts for families will be available during the Easter holidays, and there will be a free family trail in the Pleasure Garden with nature-inspired sculptures to discover.
And if that’s not enough, the garden will be carpeted in radiant daffodils thanks to the 4,000 new bulbs the gardeners have been busy planting to enhance the famous display.
Normal admission applies. Full details of activities, talks and workshops can be found at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/petworth
