Seaweed Foraging

An introduction to seaweed foraging designed to give you the skills to forage safely and whip up some delicious recipes.

Seaweed is a nutritious food source that can be used to expand your culinary repertoire. Alongside foraging, we will explore seaweed ecology, history, and seaweed crafts!
We will meet at near Hopeman on Sunday 9 June at 09:00 and the session will finish around midday.

This walk is aimed at over 18s. Places cost £10 per person and booking is essential.

What to bring:
Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. warm layers, waterproof coats and trousers, and ideally wellies.
If the weather is forecast to be sunny then participants are advised to bring a hat and sun cream.
