River Walk

Join us as we explore the Meads of St John; a beautiful stretch of the River Findhorn on Saturday 13th of July 2024

This journey will provide opportunities to deepen our sense of connection with one of the most scenic parts of the lower River Findhorn.
This 6km route doesn’t follow a fixed path. The terrain is very uneven and is steep in places. It is an adventurous route, and a good level of fitness is required.
With pick up via minibus from Findhorn Village Centre (09:30) and Grant Park, Forres (09:45), we’ll head out to explore The Meads of St John on the edge of Darnaway Forest, which is home to some of the most awe inspiring ancient Sessile Oak trees in the watershed – said to be over 700 years old.

This walk is aimed at over 18s. cost per person is £10 and booking is essential.
