In the Texas desert: A factory. 5 dying workers. The product of a capitalist America. 700 miles away: the ocean.
When one of George Murphy’s fellow workers dies as a result of exposure to factory chemicals, George decides to leave his job and undertake a journey across a crumbling America to see the ocean he's never seen.
But more than physical distance stands between him and the sea - George has to overcome his own demons and deteriorating health in order to get there. And what’s more, saying ‘goodbye’ is harder than he thought...
