Easter Extravanza at Denby Pottery Village
Denby Pottery Village is hosting an Easter Extravaganza Weekend on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Monday 1st April (closed on Easter Sunday). For three days only under cover of the Pavilion there is a huge clearance sale with great savings of up to 75% off RRP on beautiful and durable stoneware and porcelain ceramics, practical cookware, bakeware pieces and glassware, all perfect for entertaining. Take part in lots of activities suitable for the whole family and enjoy a selection of delicious Food & Drink.
Activities include:
- Free demonstrations and tastings in the Cookshop: On Good Friday – Scan Pan help reconnect us with our passion for cooking, food and entertaining. Popcorn Kitchen, the gastronomic popcorn pioneers, tell us about their deliciously decadent, artisanal popcorn snacks! Whilst Dream Farm – put their incredibly useful kitchen tools and gadgets through their paces. On Easter Monday, Swiss company Kuhn Rikon share their passion for producing high quality cookware and practical cooks’ tools to inspire us.
- Museum Open Day with free access and meet company Historian in residence on Saturday and Monday (10am-4pm)
- Spring themed craft sessions in our Craft Studio. Craft activities also run throughout the Easter holidays to keep children busy from Friday 29th March - Sunday 14th April, except Easter Sunday with a different craft each day of the week). Booking advisable
- Easter trail (on site Easter Egg Hunt for a small fee) for our younger visitors (10am-4pm).
- Also, the Denby Garden Stall are offering a free seed potting for children.
- Charity stalls including a tombola. There will be lots of Food and Drink to tempt visitors: Bournes Bistro & Café and the Farm Shop Café, a Hog Roast by Greedy Pig Butchers, a Bourne’s Jacket Potato Stall plus Emma's Cake stall. Good Friday 29th March, Saturday 30th March & Monday, 1st April 2024 9am-5pm (Closed on Sunday, 31st March) Free of charge entry with large carpark. Charges apply for Craft Activities. Open Day for all 3 days at the Museum (no charge).
