Whittington Open Gardens event for Save the Children (3 gardens)
Three gardens in Whittington, Shropshire, are to open on Bank Holiday Monday, 6 May 2024, in a fundraising event for Save the Children.

The gardens are:

Garden Croft, Daisy Lane, SY11 4EA, a contemporary cottage garden with new environmental hedge. There will be a plant sale here.

Gable Croft, Church St, SY11 4DT, an old walled garden, featuring a restored Victorian conservatory. Refreshments will be available here.

Church House, Church St, SY11 4DT, is a 1 acre garden with shade plants and free-range chickens.

There will be music at various times, provided by the Haslington Folk Group, and Andy on Bagpipes.

Nearby signed parking is available and has been adequate in previous years, but please be patient and prepared to seek alternative on-street parking should this year prove busy.

Dogs on a lead please.

Let’s hope for some decent weather!
10:30 to 17:00

Admission is by donation and covers all three gardens.

100% of donations go to the charity and all costs are borne by volunteers.
