The Mayor of Guildford’s adult charity football tournament
The Mayor of Guildford is thrilled to announce the upcoming adult charity football tournament taking place on Sunday 2 June 2024. The tournament, sponsored by Martin Grant Homes, aims to raise funds for the Mayor of Guildford’s charity of the year, The Fountain Centre.
Teams from all walks of life are invited to sign up for this inclusive six-a-side adult tournament. Men's, women's, and walking football teams are all encouraged to register and compete for the prestigious Mayor’s Cup and Mayor’s Plate.
To ensure a diverse event, squads of up to ten players are welcome to join the competition. Teams are encouraged to secure their spot early to avoid disappointment.

The event kicks off at 10:00 am at Stoughton Recreation Ground, the home of Guildford City Boys and Girls FC. It will culminate with the champion’s ceremony, finishing at 3:00 pm.
This event is about more than just football. It's a celebration of community. Alongside the exhilarating matches, family and friends can enjoy a range of family friendly activities.
Chelsea FC Foundation will be on hand to take budding footballers through their paces.

The money raised will help the Fountain Centre continue supporting cancer patients and their loved ones through a cancer diagnosis.
