Winchester Comedy Festival: Autumn Gala 2024

Shazia Mirza
Shazia Mirza is an award winning British stand up comedian and writer.

Shazia's TV appearances include; QI (BBC), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV) and Have I got News for You (BBC).

Sean McLoughlin
Sean McLoughlin is an acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer based in London.

Hugely in-demand in the UK and internationally, he has made appearances on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Stand-Up Central and Kevin Hart's LOL Network among others.

Sean has played solo shows on four continents, and has opened for Bill Burr at the Royal Albert Hall, Ricky Gervais at the Hollywood Bowl and performed a gala show at the Sydney Opera House. He's also released two specials and three hugely successful U.S. comedy albums. He has made multiple TV and radio appearances and his material on the world of technology has even seen Sean invited to perform at multiple high-profile tech conferences, including the keynote speech at E-Day in Amsterdam.

Andrew White
With skilful writing and a charming on-stage persona, Andrew White is a stand-up fast rising through the comedy ranks with an act that's not to be missed (Daily Record).

Andrew performs year-round on all of the country's top comedy stages, from famous clubs to packed out festival tents, and even an annual metal detecting rally!

Away from his live work, he has written for TV shows like Mock The Week and amassed an online following with over 1m likes and 8m views on platforms like TikTok.

Since winning the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2007, Deacon has hosted his own BBC
Radio 1 show, done some telly (The Rob Brydon Show, Fake Reaction, Dave's One Night Stand),
and followed The Champions League around the world as The Eurofan - notching up over one
million views on YouTube.
