Cheese & Wine Evening at Denby Pottery Village with Amber Wines
Join us for a fun and relaxed evening with Barry Lewis of Amber Valley Wines on 17th May. Sample great award-winning English wines and see how your palate alters when you taste a selection of wines with artisan cheeses from Cromford Mills Cheese Shop.
All profits from this event will go to our nominated charity, Shelter UK.
Barry will treat us to samples of six award-winning Amber Valley Wines produced from his Wessington vineyard in Derbyshire, alongside complementing cheeses with crackers and accompaniments.

Amber Valley Wines produce quality wines, including still white and pink wines and a signature Amber Orange - a white wine with ancient origins which is made the same way as red wine. The Amber Valley Wines sampled can also be purchased afterwards with no obligation to buy. Barry Lewis is the former CEO of Wine GB, the national industry body for Britain’s fastest growing agricultural sector.

Takes place at 7 pm on Friday, 17th May 2024 at Bournes. Hosted by Barry Lewis of Amber Valley Wines. Price is £35 per person and includes sampling 6 wines and 6 cheeses severed with crackers, relish, tomatoes etc. Guests attending need to be 18 or over. Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro is located at Denby Pottery Village which is adjacent to Denby Pottery, Derby Road, Denby, DE5 8NX situated on the B6179 8 miles north of Derby and 2 miles south of Ripley.
