The ’D-Day Challenge’ - to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day
Without leaving Oxted, we are going to CYCLE to Portsmouth, ROW the Channel and RUN up Gold Beach.
Come along and pay per mile (donations only) to help meet our challenge. We aim to raise £155 towards the Poppy Appeal.

Also:

- Children's activities
- Chance to win some gym equipment (sealed bids/silent auction - scroll down for details)
- Display of World War 2 items
- Fish & Chips and Ice Cream available (individuals’ own cost)
- Bar is open for drinks

Finally; we are asking all schools that have Year 7 and above to create a piece of art or write a piece of literature (short story or poem), depicting or describing something that relates to D-Day or World War 2 or the British Legion. The age groups are 7-9 and 10-11. There will be a prize for each group, this will be a gift voucher to the value of £15.

We have the following home gym equipment to be won (sealed bids):

Brand new rowing machine
Second hand bicycle
Second hand cross-trainer
12-4pm

No entrance fee required.
