No Frills Theatre presents a preview of 2 plays before heading to this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival.John Wayne Gacy,The Killer Clown:Born Evil and RUN by Stephen Laughton.The first tells the true story of one of the United States most prolific serial killer,responsible for the murder of up to 33 young men and boys in the 1970s.Through quotes made by Gacy himself and through well documented facts and testimony,the play seeks to explore the mind of a monster and if he was born with a sociopathic mind.Secondly,RUN is a play about a gay teenage Jewish boy who on the brink of manhood discovers what it's like to love and to lose.We follow him over the course of one evening wherein we discover a lot of things about teen love,beached whales,cinema,riots,sexuality and Leonard Cohen.
