Museum and Cellar Bar Open Afternoon

Ever wondered why Sir Christopher Wren chose a quiet Leicestershire village to build a first-rate school? Or just who Sir John Moore was? Perhaps you've heard of the artist John Glover, who was Australia's answer to Turner, but started his career in Appleby Magna. Perhaps you would just like to bring a picnic, order a locally brewed beer from the Cellar Bar, and relax whilst the kids play games on the lawn. Join us for a lazy Sunday afternoon, on the first Sunday of every month. You never know - you might find your great-grandad's graffiti on the walls!
