The Phoenix Choir of Wales
The Phoenix Choir of Wales is a modern Male Voice Choir based in Swansea, South Wales who love to sing modern and popular music alongside the more traditional Male Voice Choir repertoire.
We are pleased to return to the Taliesin Arts Centre again this year to feature songs from popular and well known musicals and have given our concert the theme of ‘The Sound of Musicals’! We will be performing well known pieces from musical theatre shows such as Cabaret, Les Misérables, and Mamma Mia as well as many more! We look forward to seeing you all there and hope that you’ll have a foot-tapping evening of song! And why not join in with some of the music?
As well as our fabulous House Band, we will be joined on stage with our special guests, The Phil Dando Brass Quintet, one of Wales’ premiere brass ensembles and Liam Edwards, a superb young baritone who is a member of LARS (Loud Applause Rising Stars). And to make sure that the evening goes with a real swing, we welcome back our wonderful friend and compere, Kev Johns MBE!
