Ask the Archaeologists at The Salisbury Museum

Wessex Archaeology are pleased to support the Festival of Archaeology at Salisbury Museum once again this July 2024.

Amongst many fun and fascinating stands, the Wessex event area will give visitors an opportunity to meet experienced archaeologists, try out environmental archaeology and try our 3D Virtual Reality headsets.

We will also be hosting exciting living history demonstrations run by the Ancient Wessex Network and flint knapping demonstrations with Phil Harding throughout the day.

On Sunday 28th July, visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a talk led by Matt Leivers on connected landscapes within the wider Stonehenge World Heritage Site landscape. More information on the talk and how to attend can be found here.
