Lisa's talk will shine a spotlight on artists and thinkers from across the Caribbean, who revolutionised London in the decades before 1948
Lisa Williams is of Grenadian heritage, the Founder of Edinburgh Caribbean Association, and Author of 'The Big Book Of British History- An Illustrated Account Of UK History For 7-11 Year Olds', published in 2024. Lisa is a Heritage Education Consultant, Black History Tours Curator, and an Honorary Fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh.

Learn some Caribbean Dance steps, and the significance of cultural dance in Caribbean history and culture.

Caribbean Dance workshops will take place just inside the Love Lane library entrance, which is at the side of the library. Landmark: entrance is near the Tesco Extra
