Learn Caribbean folk dances their significance and history and explore the Caribbean connections within The Georgian House's collections.

The Ramsay and Edinburgh Fashion Exhibition is also taking place (until November 2024) featuring a collection of Allan Ramsay’s portraits of women from NTS properties brought together at the Georgian House for the first time.

Allan Ramsay famously painted the State Portrait of George III and Queen Charlotte in their coronation robes amongst many other prestigious royal commissions.

The Georgian House is situated on Charlotte Square originally named George Square after King George III and re-named in 1786 after King George III's Queen Charlotte and their first daughter
