FREE taster session with the Penarth Rock Choir

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

Your friendly local Penarth choir is run by vocal teacher Paul Mansford. Our choir is made up of people who never thought they would join a choir or would even sing for fun and that's the beauty of joining our choir. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the nearby Vale of Glamorgan choirs too.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Paul tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community choirs the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Why I love Rock Choir: I've had lupus for over 16 years. I get to forget that once a week and I feel like I've achieved something in life now, as I've had to give everything else up because of it.' - Sheryl (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
