Come and enjoy our very popular Annual Photography Exhibition, 9am to 4pm at the Allhallowgate Methodist Church Hall, Victoria Grove, Ripon, HG4 1LG, (opposite bus station). Ripon City Photographic Society members will be displaying plenty of prints and digital images plus some will be giving optional short, varied presentations of their work, twice in the morning session and twice in the afternoon. Refreshments will be available including tea, coffee, savouries and cake. For a chance of winning one of two prizes fill in an evaluation form.
The venue is fully accessible to people with mobility aids and there is an adjoining public pay and display car park, another nearby and, if you are really lucky, time-limited free street parking (with a disc) just outside! Free entry and all are welcome.
As well as the Photography Exhibition the city of Ripon has probably the best Law and Order trail in the country with The Poor Law Museum, Courthouse Museum and the Police and Prison Museum, all within walking distance of each other and the Exhibition venue. It also has numerous independent shops and cafes worth exploring. Nearby, Newby Hall and Fountains Abbey are well worth a visit so why not make a weekend of it...
