The Ballymoney Rock Choir is led by local vocal tutor Rachel Coulter. We are the local community choir with the national reputation - join the Ballymoney Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as 'Fantastic'. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from appearing at Wembley Stadium to sing at the Rugby in October 2013 to our local County Antrim music, food and fireworks festivals!
You've probably heard us singing in and around County Antrim, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Ballymoney Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives.
