Silver spoons and much more...

Heritage Open Day: An Exhibition highlighting some of the Ticktum Trust collection of about 400 silver spoons & other items, dating from Middle Ages to 19th century, including spoons made by craftsmen in Norwich. Over the course of 40 years Colin and Sue Ticktum built up a collection of about 400 silver spoons dating from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, including spoons made by craftsmen all over the British Isles. At its heart is an important group of pieces made in Norwich between 1500 and 1750, and study of these and silver held in collections such as the Castle and Cathedral enabled Colin to put forward the identification
of several Norwich's Tudor goldsmiths with known marks.
