Heritage Open Day: An opportunity to see the interior of historic Hungate Church (Methodist and United Reformed), find out about its long history and see some artefacts connected with it. Hungate Church was formerly known as the Independent Chapel. Its roots go back to the 17th century. The present building dates from 1812 with later additions.
