Lowestoft Arts Centre
Heritage Open Day: Lowestoft Arts Centre is a non-profit art centre run by volunteers and has a gallery manned by volunteers who have artwork for sale. There are studios attached with three artists. There will also be information boards showing heritage building dating way back to Tudor times! Lowestoft Arts Centre is located in the triangle marketplace, on the historic old high street of Lowestoft Town. It's north of the town, and the area is connected to the site of The Beach Village, also known as The Grit. There are echoes of the place as you go down to the beach via the score, with a series of steps leading you down to the space where all the homes of the local fishing families lived.
