St Helens Rotary Heritage Trail Walk

Heritage Open Day: A heritage trail walk around the town centre to celebrate it's unique history. Rotary St Helens in partnership with Parish Church and St Helens Borough Council, invite you to attend a heritage trail walk around the town centre. The walk is open to all ages and will last a maximum of 2 hours.

The heritage trail walk will take you on a journey of discovery finding out about the origins of how St Helens got its name and why this special town of ours grew during the industrial revolution. The walk will take in the UK’s first industrial canal, Sankey Navigation at Foundry Wharf.
