The Kiln / Badshot Lea Village Hall
Heritage Open Day: Visit The Kiln / Badshot Lea Village Hall, tours throughout the day This is the old village hop kiln built in 1886. Tours will take visitors throughout the building and will include the restored hop drying room. The history of the building will be described, and that of hop growing in the village, how the building functioned and how it functions now as a village hall.
Photographs and drawings will be on display.
45 minute tours throughout the day on an on demand basis, no advance booking required.
